A hybrid inexact-stochastic water management model

Article Abstract:

An inexact-stochastic water management (ISWM) model was formulated for use in an agricultural system's water quality management. The model, which is based on an inexact chance-constrained programming (ICCP) approach, permits the integration of distribution information and uncertainties with its optimization process. It has a solution process that involves conversion of the ICCP model into two deterministic submodels.

A derivative algorithm for inexact quadratic program - application to environmental decision-making under uncertainty

Article Abstract:

Research describing inexact quadratic programming for environmental systems analysis is presented. In particular a derivative algorithm is developed that improves on existing methods by provision of an expression for uncertain relationships.
