A methodology for competitive advantage analysis and strategy formulation: an example in a transitional economy

Article Abstract:

A comprehensive competitive advantage model was developed to analyze a firm's industrial competitiveness. The proposed model integrates the determinant factors of competitive advantage and the different types of competitive strategic goals. The comprehensive competitive advantage model was found to be a useful analytical tool for industrial competitiveness and has the capacity to provide helpful insights for competitive strategy formulation when it was implemented in a large electronic plant in China.
