Arbitrated matching: formulation and protocol

Article Abstract:

A two-stage arbitration approach to bipartite matching, wherein a set of actors are matched with a set of mates in a one-to-one basis, is proven to be more efficient than the traditional one-off method in terms of elicitation effort required and strategy-proofness. The interaction of the arbitrator with candidates on a need-to basis makes this alternative to the one-off approach more reasonable.
