BP fuels new economy on the Street; Wishlist.com customers can pick up orders while topping off the tank

Article Abstract:

BP Australia Ltd. bought a stake in Wishlist.com.au Pty Ltd. and it seems to make their alliance stronger. The online gift store takes orders and will deliver the purchases to the customers local gas station. This is helpful to Wishlist in a country as spread out as Australia. It is a way for BP to improve the retail business of its gas station business, a business that is increasingly competitive.

Lukoil confirms it has been offered control of Avanti

Iraq to offer crude-oil contracts in bid toward resuming exports

Long-term oil delivery contracts will be offered by Iraq as the country attempts to revive its oil export program. Initial volumes for the contracts will begin in August 2003.
