Nutrexpa markets cereals in the children's sector under the brand name Phoscoa and depends heavily on its popular Cola Coa powder chocolate product. The company posted a 12.8% decline in revenue to Ptas31,223 million in 1996, while advertising expenditure dropped by 5.1% to amount to Ptas3,127.9 million.

Gallina Blanca, which started exporting soups in the 1950s, is famous for its Gallina Blanca brand in the classic soup market; Gallina Blanca Seleccion, Gallina Blanca-Receta Casera, and Gallina Blanca-Cocina Mediterranea brands in the extra market; and the Sopinstant and Sopinstant frias in the instant soup market. Gallina Blanca was the market leader in the prepared-soups category in Spain in 1997, with a 55.4% volume share of the market.
