Crevier assumes La Presse helm

Article Abstract:

Power Corp has appointed Guy Crevier as the new publisher of 'La Presse,' the biggest daily newspaper in Montreal, Quebec. Crevier will replace Roger D. Landry, who will step down from the post he has held for two decades. Crevier, the president of Montreal-based film and television production company Motion International, will also assume the presidency of Gesca Ltd. Gesca is another unit of Power Corp, also the owner of such papers as 'La Voix de l'Est,' 'Le Nouvelliste' and 'La Tribune.'
