Czechtrade sets up networks

Article Abstract:

Czechtrade (Prague, Czech Republic), pro-export governmental agency, plans to increase the number of its foreign offices to 23 in 2001 compared to 16 at the beginning of 2001. The step will get Czechtrade closer to markets and potential clients. Czechtrade, which is an agency of the Ministry of the Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, will receive CEK 198 mil for its activities in 2001. About CEK 78 mil of the sum will be intended for foreign offices. Czechtrade started the presentation of Czech firms, which offer products or free capacities, on web pages at the end of 2000. The pages are visited by investors from 50 countries, mostly from the US, France, Canada and Slovakia.

Article Abstract:

Quality data is needed for the management accountant to effectively develop the outlines of computer planning models. The total data systems portfolio may be classified according to these traits: decentralized techniques, data centers, personal computers, conventional and centralized techniques, and distributed techniques. The management accountant can use data-dynamics in the pursuit of computer models that will comprise an important element of the internal data base.

Benefun to Taiwan unit, sets HK disposal

Article Abstract:

Garment manufacturer Benefun International is selling its clothing retail subsidiary in Taiwan, Benefashion Taiwan, for HK$25 mn. It will also sell its retail business in Hong Kong to a third party in Macau. The company aims at shifting its focus on China's retail market. Benefun will issue a convertible note worth HK$10 mn to a clothing retailer in Singpore. The buyer can convert it into shares within the next three years. *
