Fowl play: quail replacing turkey? We'll see about that

Article Abstract:

Roasted quail and related recipes are excellent reasons to give turkey a holiday from traditional Thanksgiving menus. Traditionalists may protest any suggestion that there is an alternative to turkey, but there is nothing wrong with trying innovative cuisine to make Thanksgiving exciting. Recipes for quails with peppercorns, roasted quails with bacon and foie gras, dried cranberry, cherry and tomato relish, warm bread salad, and glazed shallots.

Emission impossible

Article Abstract:

The UK government will introduce a Climate Change Levy in April 2001, which will raise up to 1 billion pounds sterling per year from business to help reduce carbon emissions and focus industries requirements for the future use of renewable energy. The most widely used renewable energy source in the UK is collected methane gas from landfill and waste sites, although environmentalists would prefer investment in water or wind technology.
