IPS (Prague, Czech Republic), construction company, expects a turnover of 13.6 bil Kc in 1999. The construction firm Dopravni stavby holding (DSH) (Olomouc, Czech Republic), which has a 51% stake held by IPS, expects a turnover of more than 5 bil Kc in 1999. Both the firms together with a total of nearly 8,000 employees should take a 10% share on the domestic construction job market. About 45% of IPS's total contracts are represented by state contracts. About 90% of DSH's total contracts are represented by state contracts.

Anecdotal evidence is used to make the case against the litigation relating to devices and drugs used on women. Current litigation on Norplant is used as an example of excessive lawsuits that discourage the development of contraceptive and other medical devices and drugs for women.
