Check-in looms for Year 2000

Article Abstract:

International Air Transport Assn (IATA) director general Pierre Jeanniot warned of operational problems in the industry during the rollover into the next millennium. His opinion marks a shift in IATA's public policy, which has, until now, emphasized the positive steps airlines have taken in achieving Y2K compliance.
