Prevent and cure heartburn

Article Abstract:

Heartburn is a common disorder among Americans which occurs when digestive stomach juices back up and accumulate into the esophagus. Possible causes include overeating or eating too fast, intake of fatty, spicy and acidic foods. Three different measures to cure heartburn are presented.

Anne's heartburn wouldn't go away

Article Abstract:

A gastroenterologist presents the case of a 36-year-old new mother who complained of heartburn sixth months before and after her pregnancy. She was diagnosed with hiatal hernia and was ordered to take an H-2 blocker and to follow precautions against heartburn.

Ignoring heartburn could lead to cancer!

Article Abstract:

Issues are presented concerning the importance of consulting a physician if heartburn begins to occur regularly. The causes of heartburn in the body and the treatment which can be used to prevent excessive acid production are discussed.
