Pricey U.S. real estate hits global strategies

Article Abstract:

The results of a survey of foreign investors by the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate, is discussed. According to the survey, foreign investors are responding to record high real estate prices by planning to reduce their real estate investments in the United States. Nevertheless, investors ranked the U.S. as the number one country for stable and secure real-estate investments.

UK clothiers are expanding their men's dress shirt marketing further into the US. Thomas Pink, Paul Smith Ltd., and Turnbull and Asser Ltd. are either scouting or opening stores in several US locations. British dress shirts are constructed differently from American shirts, and have specific terms for certain features that appeal to US consumers' sense of style and distinction.
