Repairing bomb damage

Article Abstract:

Refurbishment after an explosion calls for detection and analysis of defects following by agreeing repair works with loss adjusters. Some clients take the opportunity to upgrade rather than making straight repairs. Repairs may involve local structural repair, cladding panels, raised floors and suspended ceilings which may well be distorted, and contained spaces, which are susceptible to pressure build up. There is little demand for blast resistant construction as it can be cheaper to pay premiums rather than redesign a building.
