Robustness of the efficient DMUs in data envelopment analysis

Article Abstract:

The sensitivity analysis of the CCR model by A. Charnes et al in data envelopment analysis (DEA) is examined by means of modified versions of the CCR model based on evaluation of a decision making unit (DMU) relative to a reference set grouped by all other DMUs. The sensitivity analysis procedures are linear programming problems whose optimal values result into specific areas of stability. The conditions for upward deviations of inputs and for downward deviations of outputs of an efficient DMU which remains efficient are given. The method does not need the basic solutions and the inverse of the corresponding optimal basis matrix.

A buyer-seller game model for selection and negotiation of purchasing bids: extensions and new models

Article Abstract:

It is shown that setting the ideal target actually incorporates implicit tradeoff information on the multiple attributes into efficiency valuation. A new buyer-seller game model is developed wherein the efficiency is maximized with respect to multiple targets which are set by the buyer.
