Security woes don't slow Reed's push into data collection

Reed Elsevier PLC of the United Kingdom, the parent company of LexisNexis Group has been brought into the spotlight because of security breaches in the personal data collection database company, causing the shares in the parent company to fluctuate. The publishing concern is not daunted however and plans to avidly endorse the business of collecting personal data for sale to banks, lawyers, employers and other clients.

Vodafone to put 'Push E-Mail' in cell phones across Europe

Vodafone Group PLC of the United Kingdom is introducing "Push E-mail" into mobile phones across Europe. The handsets, unlike Blackberry devices, will have only numeric keypads, more suited to receiving e-mail rather than typing lengthy messages.
