'Stocks affected by more than fishing'-federation chief

Article Abstract:

Researchers state that the plaice stock was in a poor state and they intend to increase the volume of the spawning biomass while the fishermen object saying there was no overfishing and even the catch rate is same. Chief executive of the Dutch Federation of Fishermen's Organization feels that factors other than fishing are at work and hence fish stock assessments and management need to be looked into.
