Take the money and run? Organizational boundaries and consultants' role

Article Abstract:

Using the work of Granovetter, the relationship between management consultants and their clients has been examined. The role of consultant fluctuates from a paid service provider to that of trusted friend, a relationship that is sometimes broken by misinterpretation of the roles by either of the parties.
