Taking the rise out of damp. What is rising damp? This article explores the issues and recommends that surveys be taken more seriously

Within the construction industry, disagreements abound over whether rising damp really exists or not. By properly defining the term, it at least makes it easier to verify its existence. After a level of dampness is determined, there are various techniques available to treat this problem.
