The burning issue

Article Abstract:

Toxic waste is a serious problem in Japan, where high dioxin levels have resulted from lack of control of incineration of plastic waste. The issue has received publicity after very high levels of dioxin were found at Nosecho, a suburb in Osaka, Japan. Some companies such as Toshiba and Matsushita have made public details of contamination on their sites. Other companies are likely to follow with more disclosures. There are opportunities for soil remediation companies at both large companies' sites and those of small companies.
