Web-advertising slump sends DoubleClick to a wider loss

DoubleClick Inc. posted a a higher loss for the 2001 second-quarter. The company posted a $37.9 million (44.3 million euros) net loss for the period, compared to a $22.1 million net loss during the same 2000 period.
