Whites and wrongs

Article Abstract:

People from ethnic minorities and women are failing to be fully represented at board level in UK companies, despite years of legislation which should have helped prevent such forms of discrimination. Many large firms fail to admit to discrimination taking place during their selection processes, which results in discrimination being perpetuated where it is most important. Equal opportunity strategies have been introduced by a few large firms, although the whole issue of discrimination in the work place and in every day life needs to be addressed before improvements can be made in the commercial sector.
