Museum reaches for brass ring

Article Abstract:

A new museum is planned for Penn's Landing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Please Touch museum, which includes a monorail and carousel for children, will relate exhibitions to everyday life. The museum was designed by Santos-Levy and Associates. City officials have obtained a financial package of $5 million from combined government resources.

He sets his sights high

Article Abstract:

Real estate developer, Willard Goldsmith Rouse III, who is considered as the father of modern development in Philadelphia, succumbed to lung cancer on 27 May 2003. The visionary developer who changed the skyline of Philadelphia would be remembered as someone who was willing to take risks and who set high standards for himself and his team.

John Riggs, group president for K. Hovnanian Cos., oversees its operations in New Jersey due to the increasing difficulties of doing business in States. Riggs also reported about balancing the need for land preservation with the need to build homes for the state's growing population at a luncheon for reporters.
