Ferraris produces equipment for respiratory monitoring and diagnostics. The company should benefit from an increase in asthma in UK children of some 100% to 20% of children from 1989 to 1994. The US market is promising with demand from monitoring equipment increasing by 20% annually. The company is also involved in engineering and components, activities which are not growing as rapidly. Ferraris' profit is forecast at 1.75 million pounds sterling for 1996 to 1997 by Peel Hunt.
