Article Abstract:

CAS, Incorporated *, Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded a $150,000 increment of a $7,135,141 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract with a cumulative total of $49,998,752 (base year plus five 1-year options) to provide scientific, engineering, and technical assistance and testbed support to the Joint Land Attack Cruise Missile Defense Elevated Netted Sensor System (JLENS) Project Office, U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command. The period of performance is approximately fifty (50) months. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala. (79%), Columbia, Md. (5%), Fairfax, Va. (2%), and Elizabeth City, N.C., and is expected to be completed by Sept 30, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 26, 1998. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Space & Strategic Defense Command, Huntsville, Ala. (DASG60-98-C-0079).

United Defense Limited Partnership, Ground Systems Division, Santa Clara, Calif., is being awarded a $14,000,000 increment as part of a $14,556,031 modification to a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. This will obligate $556,031 for engineering support services for the Bradley Engineering and Manufacturing Development contract for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System A3 Upgrade program. Work will be performed in San Jose, Calif., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 25, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on May 15, 1997. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-94-C-0456).

(6%); Huntsville, Ala. (7%); Andover, Mass. (5%); Tewksbury, Mass. (65%); El Paso, Texas (1%); Bedford, Mass. (15%); and Orlando, Fla. (1%), and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2000.
