Article Abstract:

Phoenix Technology Ltd is a developer of system software compatibility products for personal computers. The stock traded as high as $10 in 1992 before plunging to the upper $3's. Insiders cleared out several shares during the decline. Three insiders cleared out 92,000 shares between Jan 28 and Mar 15, 1993, during a price drop from $5.25 down to $4.38. These insider actions suggest that a recovery is not expected in the near-term so caution is recommended.
