Article Abstract:

A survey conducted by RMIT University found that while nearly 69% of non-family businesses have regular board meetings, less than half of family businesses do and of these, less than half have monthly board meetings. Family business owners prefer to use an accountant for business advice, business planning and succession planning as against a business-consultant by non-family business owners.
