As TIVO and Skyplus make it easy for viewers to edit out advertisements, and channel proliferation makes it harder for brands to reach a mass consumer audience through television advertising, spending on sponsorship continues to grow, and each sponsor pays around 30 million-40 million pounds for a four-year deal.
