Charged with overseeing foreign military sales, the Pentagon agency has notified Congress of a series of prospective arms sales to Brazil, Israel, Japan, South Korea and Pakistan. GAO sees 'Risks' in Iraq contract awards

Article Abstract:

The General Accounting Office (GAO) has reported that inadequate staffing, lack of clearly defined roles, changing requirements and security constraints have all hampered efforts by government agencies to provide full oversight of Iraq reconstruction contracts. The GAO has found out that there was a lesser degree of compliance from agencies in issuing task orders under existing contracts.
