Making a connection

Article Abstract:

Many small businesses have difficulty transferring large files from personal computers to network printers. However, it is critical for these firms to have smoothly operating networks as they receive more digital files and add an increasing number of users to their local area networks (LAN). There are two types of LAN, namely, peer-to-peer and client/server. Peer-to-peer networking is generally the easier of the two to install for these businesses.

Article Abstract:

AGFA Corp. Consumer Imaging Group Pres Bing Liem believes digital camera image capture remains in its infancy and will continue at a slow rate. On the other hand, Liem expects scanner acceptance will continue to grow at a reasonable rate. According to Liem, the keys to widespread consumer acceptance of digital photography are price and convenience. He predicts that film will still be viable for a long time. Liem acknowledges that one of the most positive outcomes of digital photography has been the overall increased interest in photography as a whole.
