Odetka saw lower proceeds in 2000 than in 1999

Odetka (Vrbno pod Pradedem, Czech Republic), textile firm, expects a profit of over CEK 2 mil for 2000, on the same level as in 1999. The firm's proceeds for the sales of its products and services totalled about CEK 80 mil in 2000, about CEK 16 mil less compared to 1999. The drop was caused by the stoppage of exports. The firm is involved in lace, solid braid and wick production.

Slezan (Frydek Mistek, Czech Republic), textile firm, generated a net profit of CEK 40.211 mil and outputs of CEK 1.284 bil in 2000. In 1999 the firm saw a loss of CEK 114.085 mil under outputs of CEK 1.528 bil. In 1Q 2001 Slezan made a gross profit of CEK 15.013 mil under proceeds of CEK 622.964 mil.
