Air Force issues aerial tanker request for information

Article Abstract:

The Air Force has issued a request for information (RFI) from prospective suppliers for its aerial refueling tanker recapitalization program in April 2006. The EFI marks a major step toward an Air Force purchasing decision on a new aerial tanker, currently dubbed the KC-X, which would replace the badly aging KC-135s, which are in use.

Raptor will bounce back in QDR-analyst

Article Abstract:

A Think Tank Defense analyst says that Raptor fighter aircraft program will come out in better shape following the 2005 Quadrennial Defense Review (QDR). The QDR is a thorough review of the nation's defenses conducted by the Pentagon every four years.
