The ABC's of In-House Telemarketing

Article Abstract:

Setting up and establishing an in-house telemarketing program is complex, but it can be done if there is careful planning and sufficient telemarketing experience by the planners. A good manager is essential and must be carefully chosen. The in-house program must be planned, tested and properly implemented. The four most important areas of planning are staffing, employee compensation, employee training and selection of the telephone system.

A nationwide survey conducted by Telemarketing Magazine shows the methods used for sales verification. Some examples are the use of continuous monitoring, call back verification, tape recording and address checking. Such methods will increase the efficiency of a company and promote better customer relations.
