The nature of globalization and the Muslim world

Article Abstract:

The Muslim world needs to adopt an authentically Islamic globalization process. This can be achieved by implementing two structural changes simultaneously, namely, the adoption of the Shuratic process in socio-scientific thinking and the incorporation of institutional and political changes into this Shuratic process. The Shuratic framework of thinking, organization and action must also be adopted in the Organization of the Islamic Conference, the Islamic Development Bank and their sister agencies. Such an Islamic globalization process would end the dominance of the model of global control by the West.

The nature of globalization and the Muslim world

Article Abstract:

Attainment of authentic globalization remains unrealized among Muslim countries. Such condition exists due to a disequilibrium in the external sector condition of Muslim nations. Also, the inability of Muslim countries to attain true globalization is further aggravated by their ineffective adoption of the Western models in science, technology, society, markets, economics and globalization.
