The wave of the future

Article Abstract:

Chartered accountants will have to be ready to face the challenges of the 21st century. The unprecedented increase in international trading and investments would inevitably result in more intense competition among accountants as the need for financial auditing decreases. Accountants should always be aware of the latest developments in information technology. It is also important that they maintain their moral and ethical standards. Members of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants expect their organization to help them prepare for the challenges of the future.
