How small colleges approach employer development
Article Abstract:
A survey was conducted to find out how small colleges manage the employer development component of their career planning and placement services program. Survey participants were 447 respondents representing educational institutions in all states except Alaska and Nevada. Survey findings showed that the most common employer development services offered by colleges include distributing information materials provided by employers and informing students about job openings. The survey also revealed that the favorable reputation of an institution and its location enhance employer development.
