EC adopts GHS proposal

Article Abstract:

The European Commission (EC) approved the proposal that is based on the United Nations Globally Harmonised System of classification and labeling of chemicals. The proposal - which will bring new hazard symbols, classification criteria and labeling phrases while regarding elements from existing European Union laws - is briefly discussed.
