The Stone, Pigman, Walther, Wittman & Hutchinson law firm recently renovated an old City Hall Annex building. The outcome was a conservative, contemporary look offering privacy. Each office and floor's layout promotes efficiency. Several photographs are included. Stone, Pigman, Walther, Wittmann & Hutchinson was awarded the 'Offices of the Year' Award of Merit' for 1984.

What's Holding OA Back? Is It Lack of Proof that OA Pays Dividends?

Article Abstract:

Presently, there is limited office automation OA penetration in many corporations. In addition, several firms are not meeting stated OA goals. One possible reason for such shortcomings may be little justification for the high financial investment required. There is a strong need for more research and writings examining office productivity.

Correcting Pay Inequities: Can Employers Afford It?

A survey conducted by this magazine showed a clear inequality in the wages paid to men and women. The difference in pay for male and female managers is nearly thirty-six percent. Several cities and states are responding with pay adjustments which, of course, cost money.
