Computer Associates International Inc has released its Paradigm Workgroup Edition for small- and medium-sized businesses. The software package, formerly called PHD Enterprise, is built on the company's Unicenter TNG Framework and neural agent technology which enable the product to predict and resolve problems. Paradigm Workgroup can be used to deploy call management ad problem resolution functions through other applications, have usable interfaces and documentation, and is built on component-based architecture.

Cisco reaches out to its channel

Article Abstract:

Cisco Systems Inc has released a new Web-based tool that allows online management of professional service contracts between channel partners and their customers. The product called Service Contract Center will enable channel partners and customers to reconcile inventories, confirm service agreements and compare contract costs via the Internet. This would allow channel partners to manage the life cycle of a contract, and channel customers to save administration costs.
