Decision to Automate Keeps a Company Growing

Article Abstract:

A health care equipment manufacturer has instituted a comprehensive word processing and electronic file management system to handle business which has increased from one million dollars to sixteen million dollars in three years. The company's first consideration was processing speed because of the need to maintain 4,000 files. The equipment they selected, Syntrex Aquarius II, has tandem processing capabilities, spelling verification, and a user-created word file. The company uses it for mailings, market research, quality assurance, and financial statements. Company officials estimate that Acquarius II has speeded up the production time on documents by eight or nine times.
