Towa Meccs Corp's electronic cash registers (ECRs) that are provided with unique features that allows for a flexible and efficient retail business were featured at CeBIT '99 in Hannover, Germany. The firm's ET-6600 ECR is capable of storing as much as 15,000 price codes and is ideal for bars, hotels, lounges and restaurants. Towa's ET-3510 ECR, ideal for low-volume, value-added retailers, is capable of issuing descriptive receipts that can contain store-specific information.

Small-footprint ECRs, POS systems tackle demanding hospitality tasks

Uniwell Corp showcased its latest line of compact-footprint electronic cash registers (ECRs) and point-of-sale (POS) systems that are specifically aimed at the hospitality industry at CeBIT '99 in Hannover, Germany. Shown at the exhibit was the firm's UX-7000 Series POS system that feature 40-digit, 16-line LCDs, memory functions and link price lookup code systems. Other products featured include the TX-850 POS, SX-330 ECR and TP-522 kitchen printer.

Electronic calculators accommodate Euro Conversion, ECRs offer advanced features

Nasco Corp exhibited its latest line of electronic calculators and electronic cash registers (ECRs) at CeBIT '99 in Hannover, Germany, from Mar 18, 1999 to Mar 24, 1999. The items shown at the annual trade fair include the NS-1270PD and NS-1270PDe electronic calculators that are capable of doing Euro conversions. Other items at the exhibit include the NS-5812PD, NS-6812PD line of Euro calaculators and NR-122 and NR-532 ECRs.
