A study, conducted by the Venture Development Corporation, concludes that this continued increase in sales can be attributed to the manufacturers' awareness and capacity to meet end users needs, and continued growth rate of small systems.

JU-591 is a floppy disk drive that is used with the conventional 5.25-inch double-density mini-floppy disk and the large-capacity 5.25-inch or 8-inch floppy disk. This system automatically selects the speed for either type of mini-floppy disk. Annual sales are expected to total 200,000 units.
