Hunter Group gathers IT self-service practice

Article Abstract:

Baltimore, MD-based Hunter Group Inc has launched Enterprise Self Service, a new consulting practice designed to help integrate customers' self- service initiatives and enterprise business practices. The first phase of the new practice is for Hunter consultants to help a customer understand what self-service is and how to match it to corporate objectives. The next step is determining the technological solutions for successfully deploying self-service. In the final phase, Hunter advises the best way to implement the solution.

Broadbase Information Systems has released its Broadbase EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) 3.0 software package. The product bundles customer service, help desk, field logistics, e-commerce, sales and marketing applications. EPM can pull data from back-office, front-office, e-commerce systems and other external data sources. The tool utilizes the company's business logic to allow the resulting the analysis to deal with the business problems.
