Firms seek in-house network support

Article Abstract:

Companies are increasing their budgets to boost their inhouse network support, as shown by the results of the 1996 Benchmarking Survey. The results also showed that no other support areas reflected such a high rate of increase in budget. The trend is particulary evident in the growing market of network analysis, recording and management of products, and in remote monitoring services. The survey also showed that less than 5% were outsourcing all the network support.
