Chicken coup

Article Abstract:

Architect Sir James Stirling's building at No 1 Poultry in the City of London, England, has been criticized by many observers for being too modernistic but it has also been acknowledged as an extraordinary building by others. Altstadtbau have developed the building in collaboration with architects Michael Wilford and Partners who took over from Stirling and completed his work. The building was constructed in grey and salmon striped granite by the builders John Laing PLC.
