Clevelanders thrilled by free exterior makeovers

Article Abstract:

Owens Corning, based in Toledo, OH, offered free renovation and redesign of five homes of Cleveland, OH, residents via its Great Exterior Makeover program. Its exterior products were used in the project, with each house featuring one of Owens Corning's Exterior Design Collections. The remodeling of each house also used one of the thematic designs from the Exterior Design Collection: Tidewater, Lodge, Monticello, Hometown and Garden.

E-mail marketing for the roofing contractor

Article Abstract:

Several companies in the roofing business have made a powerful discovery about electronic mail (e-mail), namely, that an ethical e-mail marketing strategy can outperform the most attractive Internet World Wide Web sites if it is creatively leveraged. Internet research market companies already acknowledge the value of this true 'killer' Internet application, and its value is evident in the vast numbers of Fortune 500 firms and other enterprises that have integrated e-mail into the core of their online marketing plans.

Contractors consolidate

Article Abstract:

Consolidation appears to be imminent in the roofing market, with the major industry player, Centimark, considering consolidation in the face of a serious threat from so-called 'roll-up' companies. The average commercial roofing contractor generating gross revenues of $4 million or more annually can either choose to consolidate with a roll-up or compete with them for labor and work. At the very least, they should consider their options if the consolidtion trend in roofing begins to accelerate.
