Datamarine gets its capital

Article Abstract:

Datamarine International has secured a $3.75 million private placement from Alta Subordinated Debt Partners III, which the company will use in retiring existing debt and as working capital. The Mountlake Terrace-based marine electronics manufacturer has also repurchased a subordinated debenture from Alta for $2.8 million including interest. The repurchase not only negated Alta's rights to some 200,000 Datamarine common shares but resulted in a gain of $900,000 for Datamarine.
