Dice work if you can get it

Article Abstract:

There is likely to be a sharp increase in the number of casinos operating in the UK over the next few years as attitudes to gambling become more relaxed. This represents a potential market of up to 500 million pounds sterling in the period to 2007 for the construction industry. Leading operators Stanley Leisure, Stakis, London Clubs International and Grosvenor Casinos already have development plans, and there is likely to be substantial business for both contractors and consultants.

Pulpit friction

Article Abstract:

The re-flooring project at Cathedral Church of Christ in Chester, UK, is progressing steadily even though many have protested against it. Historians and ancient buildings activists are furious that the 18th-century sandstone floor is being replaced with modern flooring materials. The 725,000 pounds sterling project was essential because the floor was damaged and dangerous to the public, according to Chester Cathedra estate management.
