Preferred Hotels expands CRM, data warehousing program

Article Abstract:

Preferred Hotels and Resorts Worldwide decided to update its data warehouse system after realizing that this is essential in launching more targeted direct marketing programs, strengthening customer relationships and improving overall marketing efficiency. The $100 million global hotel and resort company with more than 110 properties has commissioned the services of Opal Sky Inc to provide solution to its data management problem. Opal Sky recommended the use of a system that allows connectivity between property management and provides a central warehouse at Preferred's Chicago, IL, headquarters.

NCAA expands use of online video magazine

After the successful launch of the first volume of the 2005 NCAA Vmag in January, the National Collegiate Athletic Association's has announced its plans to expand the use of its online video magazine. According to Kevin Lennon, NCAA's vice president for membership services, the Vmag is a timely, cost effective tool for communicating with its members. Charlotte, North Carolina-based NEWgame Communications Inc. produced the Vmag.

Hilton rolls out phase 1 of its personalized members program

Hilton Hotels Corp can now placed personalized messages to members who access the www.hhonors.com Web site with the completion of the first phase of a Web personalization program for the company's award-winning guest rewards program called Hilton HHonors program. Aside from managing accounts through the Web site, clients can also get data regarding account activity such as point and mileage bonuses, reward and redemption history, stay details and partner earnings.
