Key executives are shifted as Rampage opens plant

KCS International has appointed Alton Herndon as general manager of its Rampage Sport Fishing subsidiary. Prior to his appointment, Herndon was general manager of Cruiser Yachts, and has 31 years of marine manufacturing experience, starting as an industrial engineer at Hatteras Yachts in 1969. Replacing Herndon as general manager of Cruiser Yachts is Rick Jelinski, who joined KCS in Jan 2000 as director of human resources. KCS also appointed Frank Longino as director of marketing and sales for Rampage.

Nick Miller

Nick Miller has resigned as VP for marketing at Donzi Marine and Pro-Line Boats to pursue other career opportunities. Miller said it was very difficult for him to leave the two companies operated by American Marine Holdings, but added that he intends to stay in the boating business. His brother Mike Miller will handle his marketing responsibilities on an acting capacity while Paul Judgmann will take over sales. Both companies said no permanent replacement for Miller has yet been found.
