NetworkDirect awarded $5M PeoplePC account

Article Abstract:

PeoplePC Inc has awarded its $5-million account for customer acquisition to NetworkDirect, Willow Grove, PA. The company, which leases Internet- enabled computers to consumers, has taken the direct mail business from OgilvyOne Worldwide which retains the multimillion-dollar TV account. NetworkDirect was one of three agencies considered for the direct mail assignment. OgilvyOne was not part of the review.

Cronin bags Vytra HMO account

Article Abstract:

Vytra Health Plans, the leading HMO in the Long Island managed-care market, has named Cronin and Company Inc as its agency of record. The account involves general advertising and direct marketing responsibilities. Cronin's job is to strengthen the brand in a category of service that has the lowest level of trust in the US. Cronin will break its first campaign for Vytra Health Plans in Mar 2001.
